Kamusal Sanat Laboratuvarı
• We were brought together by the rage created by the overwhelming violence used by governments against people, nature, culture, science, art and different ways of life.
• We were brought together by the burning need for an organisation open to anyone who wants to create “tangible thoughts” that can change the space, time, working conditions, human relations and lifestyles that are shaped by the nightmare of capitalism.
• We were brought together by the desire to establish a collective, public art laboratory that will create the tools of free expression.
• We were brought together by the will to show that we are not prisoners to the art market that turns art into useless entertainment and the artist into a court jester.
• We were driven to action by the belief that there is no reason to wait any longer and that the first step is to change ourselves.
Our aims are:
• To produce actions, works of art and processes that may change the habits shaped by capitalism, instrumentalised social relations, and the mutilated human-nature relationships in our daily lives...
o To make use of arts’ strategies that create social relations, experiences, feelings, moments and spaces with temporary or permanent practices...
o To create public spaces with performances that evaluate, criticise, oppose, and rebel; shapes that bring us to our senses; signs that reveal hypocrisy; with ironic images; rebellious inventions; seducing sounds; mysterious words; and nameless shadows...
• To reshape life with “art” by redefining the relationships of art with politics and society rather than making art a tool of politics...
o To reconsider art within this context...
o To try to understand not what art is but what art does, what art can do...
• To create a structure that can produce direct actions and long term events:
o that can work with local and international organisations, labour unions and platforms in line with its principles;
o that can produce actions which question the relationships of art with society and life.
• To think about the problems of art together with other problems of communal life...
o To determine the problems of art and culture...
o To draw attention to and offer or produce solutions to these problems where necessary...
We, who were brought together by these aims, and who side with work, freedom, organised protest, life, nature and humankind:
• believe that creativity is of vital importance in the creation of a humane lifestyle;
• think that there is no way to offer a new way of life without the creation of a new language and form of expression;
• think that art is the way to overcome the lie “in hearts, books and the streets”; *
• believe that art has the potential to create a new world in emotions, thoughts, dreams and reality, and it is for this very reason that art is political;
• define the “tangible thoughts” that we will create as a political action as much as an artistic one.
Our dreams are of the future. And our journey will continue until it reaches the fulfilled, without condition, people of the future.

• Nos unimos debido a la rabia creada por la insoportable violencia utilizada por los Gobiernos contra la gente, la naturaleza, la cultura, la ciencia, el arte y los diferentes modos de vida.
• Nos unimos debido a la gran necesidad de una organización abierta a cualquiera que quiera crear “pensamientos tangibles” que puedan cambiar el espacio, el tiempo, las condiciones de trabajo, las relaciones humanas y los estilos de vida determinados por la pesadilla del capitalismo.
• Nos unimos debido al deseo de establecer un laboratorio colectivo y público de arte que creará las herramientas de libre expresión.
• Nos unimos debido al deseo de demostrar que no somos prisioneros del mercado artístico que convierte el arte en inútil entretenimiento y al artista en bufón.
• Nos pusimos en marcha debido a la creencia de que no hay razón para esperar más y de que el primer paso a dar es el de cambiarnos nosotros mismos.
Nuestros objetivos son:
• Producir acciones, trabajos artísticos y procesos que puedan cambiar los hábitos determinados por el capitalismo, las relaciones sociales instrumentalizadas, y las relaciones mutiladas entre humanos y naturaleza en nuestra vida diaria…
o Hacer uso de las estrategias de las artes que crean relaciones sociales, experiencias, sentimientos, momentos y espacios, con prácticas temporales o permanentes…
o Crear espacios públicos con representaciones que evalúan, critican, se oponen y se rebelan; formas que nos hacen entrar en razón; señales que revelan hipocresía; con imágenes irónicas; invenciones rebeldes; sonidos seductores; palabras misteriosas; y sombras sin nombres…
• Reorganizar la vida con “arte” redefiniendo las relaciones del arte con la política y la sociedad en lugar de hacer del arte un instrumento de la política…
o Reconsiderar el arte dentro de este contexto…
o Intentar entender no lo que es el arte, sino qué es lo que el arte hace, lo que el arte puede hacer…
• Crear una estructura que pueda producir acciones directas y eventos de larga duración:
o que pueda trabajar con organizaciones locales e internacionales, sindicatos y plataformas que estén de acuerdo con estos principios;
o que pueda producir acciones que cuestionan las relaciones del arte con la sociedad y la vida.
• Pensar en los problemas del arte en conjunto con otros problemas de vida comunitaria…
o Determinar problemas del arte y la cultura…
o Llamar la atención sobre y ofrecer o crear soluciones a estos problemas donde sea necesario…
Nosotros, que fuimos unidos por estos objetivos y que estamos a favor del trabajo, la libertad, las protestas organizadas, la vida, la naturaleza y la humanidad:
• creemos que la creatividad es de vital importancia a la hora de crear un estilo de vida humano;
• creemos que no hay manera de ofrecer una nueva forma de vida sin crear un nuevo lenguaje y forma de expresión;
• creemos que el arte es la manera de vencer la mentira de “en los corazones, los libros y las calles”; *
• creemos que el arte tiene el potencial de crear un nuevo mundo de emociones, pensamientos, sueños y la realidad, y que por esta misma razón el arte es político;
